The sustainable factories of VDL - Green technology
Our new factory is designed to operate in the most efficient and sustainable manner. The new factory will be delivered energy-neutral, and we will make use of "green" technology. This includes, among other things, maximizing natural light and minimizing artificial lighting, utilizing underfloor heating, constructing with medium-weight concrete, and energetically connecting all our installations. For instance, we harness the heat generated in our machining processes to heat other halls.
Our factory will consist of several shops
To carry out our core activities in a professional manner, we have the capability to tailor solutions to meet the specific needs of our customers. In our newly constructed facility, we have shifted our focus towards ensuring ample capacity. Below, you can find the spaces we have successfully realized in the new construction:
All shops will have a crane capacity of 10 tons and 7.5 meters under the hook. Our new machines will be able to operate 24/7 thanks to automated processes and product and pallet warehouses.
